Add a site from the WebCheck dashboard by entering its name and public homepage URL. WebCheck normalizes the URL, creates sensible initial checks and schedules the first scan immediately.
Add the site
Sign in, select Add a site, enter a site name and enter a public HTTP or HTTPS homepage URL. The URL must be allowed by WebCheck network-safety rules. Credentials, fragments, unsafe ports and restricted destinations are not accepted.
What WebCheck creates
The quick setup creates homepage availability monitoring and the applicable DNS and TLS checks. HTTP sites do not receive a TLS check because TLS inspection requires HTTPS. Stable content assertions can be added later for pages where a specific response matters.
Review the first result
The first scan is queued immediately. Open the site detail view to review the latest status, response timing, target list and any incidents. If there is not enough history for a completed uptime period, WebCheck labels the result as current availability instead.
Choose the next targets
Add important public pages or endpoints such as a login page, contact page, checkout page, API endpoint or public status page. Give each target a clear label and configure only checks that answer a real operational question.
